Dynamics of Kundalini

Like any other energetic aspect, the energetic current called Kundalini, because of the connections through which it crosses the different inner dimensions of human being, is reflected in his body as well as in his mind and conscience.

The point, then, is to be conscious of this “living phenomenon”. That is to develop one's “attention” (inner vision) on the “pushes” that it promotes in its physical-emotional-mental fields of action. This will allow us to understand how and why they react, when they do, towards what and whom the reaction occurs.

“Conscious” of this, the analytical mind can reach the point of driving its effectiveness (occult education).

The mind that is “conscious of self” becomes then the driver of its own “energetic engine”.

This “natural mechanism” goes under the protection of a Law called of Attraction-Repulsion (see other article in the site). The fact that, as it is stated, many occultists seem to ignore its meaning, must not surprise us because even if many people use “mathematics” only to play cards, this doesn't mean that mathematics itself is not a completely different thing.

Kundalini in the western symbolism is Eros then Psichè and finally Thanatos. This idea leads us to the analogy with as many “Yogas” (in Sanskrit: Union).

The most interesting and practical aspect of the Snake of Life is the one linked to the Will. It is not the exoterical aspect of wanting or wishing, but the will that resembles the edge of an icebreaker.

The will, then, is the dynamical aspect of vital energy that is expressed by the will to do or not to do ; the will for good or evil; the will to love or destroy, etc.

In other words, the will determines a responsible, conscious and volitive decision whilst the desire determines a choice of which we can't forecast the consequences. The result is that the full consciousness of every decision, word, act or gesture is the distinctive sign of a truly advanced mind.

Even if isolated, the aspect of will would be able to move at least itself. The “will to want” is its demonstration. It is not so for the other aspects, though.

The love to love, for example, doesn't work; but if we join it to the “will to do” the will to love appears.

Without will any other aspect remains only a mental dummy.

In order to understand properly “the Kundalini”, the Snake of Fire (electric) we must start by studying the “will” aspect further. We must acknowledge its origins, its dynamics and its practical and abstract uses.

On this path we'll end up reaching the vision of the natural pluri-dimensionality of human conscience.

In other words: Kundalini is the “fuel” of the psychical engine called “Will”, from which it is started.

I don't claim to have exhausted the subject in this article; but if we read the text: The Act of Will by Assagioli (Psycho-synthesis), what we have said will be clearer and more practicable not only in a theoretic sense.
